Visiting the Shop

Welcome to Books on Bay!

Lots to look at on the left as you enter the store. Did you spot our telephone?

Plenty of elbow room in this shop.

The schoolbooks in this section are from the late 1800s to the mid-1900s.
Older schoolbooks are on the other side of the shop.

The “For Children of All Ages” section brings back great memories.

Argh, me hearties! People love looking at the bookends!

“Westerns and Adventures”

The drugstore case is from the 1800s and holds the Poetry section in the top
and REALLY old books in the bottom.

The oldest books date from the 1600s.

Little books have their own little section.

Tired? Have a seat and curl up with a good book!

We love mysteries too.

History and Non-fiction is at the far end—Classics is the loooong section.

This case holds specialty books such as a 1st edition, 1st printing Gone with the Wind
and 1st edition Hardy Boys.

Zane Grey gets his own bookcase.

While Nature is all around, it really lives here, in this revolving bookcase.

More unusual books. Notice the book in the center that looks like a record? It is.

Oz books are a specialty of ours. Did you know there are 40 of them in the series?

The table in the center of the shop has a little of everything.

If you can’t find the book you’re looking for in the shop, check out our two other locations in Savannah: inside Cobblestone Lane Antique Mall (shown here) and The Attic Antiques.
